Lady of the Lake

Source: Lady of the Lake

I am reworking past poems and this is my latest attempt. The link above takes you to the original. Thanks for stopping by.

Impressions of her face
washing off.
He glimpses a watercolor,
lavender blossoms return.
A glistening image hauntingly feeble.
Her eye appears
to scare. It sees him.
Her mouth speaks
echoing in his mind.

Looking back nothing is apparent.
A foggy violet hue.
Nobody exists to collect in her arms.
