Dandelion

Oh so rare
a heart that takes you in
a bouquet for mother
your rubbing a yellow chin
she will be happy
you skip two beats
a hop, a jump
you run. Mother
I love you so
please do not hesitate
love me for who I am
and not what you expect.
I need you to see me                     with mutual respect.

  1. What a flurry of poignancy in those first three lines alone. Then the skip, hop, jump and the plea. I like your dandelion poem very much.
