unearthing

I recognize the voices, do you?

No sense plugging your ears;

desperate sirens blare,

these clamoring chains,

they penetrate much deeper.

Am I witnessing

your frenzied, fervent pain

or pleasure as you crawl

to the mouth of your soul?

Fear strikes us all.

    1. So crawl isnt too harsh? I thought creep but that did not seem to have the strength or emotion needed. I wanted something desperate sounding.

      1. I like crawl–it sounds desperate to me…and reminds me of a poem I have somewhere, about crawling through broken glass for someone…
