regarding my Sunday post…

I had scheduled for a later time, and never pushed the publish button, on my Winds post and was surprised to wake and find it public. At first I wanted to quickly pull it off the site until I noticed it had likes and then reread my words and decided to let it stand and be read. Believe it or not, I am a very private person. I mull things in my mind day and night. I do have opinions but often I want others to figure out their own thoughts and ideas of what life is to live among others and in their own minds. My intention is never to coerce but bring conversation to the table.

I wrote my post “Winds” yesterday, contemplating the state of America’s affairs as seen from my heart and mind. I am disturbed by the happenings and would love to know, if you dare say, what caught your attention and resonated with you.  You can always email me at promisegardens@att.net if you rather keep whatever you wish to say private.

***Of course, Word Press has been acting erratic of late, as many have posted. Even in the middle of night, when I write from my dreams, something accidentally posts and I quickly retract it before some reads it.  Maybe the lesson here is to write on my IPhone notepad to keep it safe.

Writing means sharing. It’s part of the human condition to want to share things – thoughts, ideas, opinions.  –Paulo Coehlo

  1. I think Coelho’s quote sums it up nicely. Even though it can be terrifying to bare our inner selves to the world, if we want to be writers it is what we must do. Though obviously we should be able to control what we share and when! Hope the WordPress glitch gets worked out.
