walk along to Calvary

Church is poetry. Poetry is life. A life well lived.

The beginning of all life exists in spirit. Science seeks to comprehend what lies beyond our sight. Slowly coming into view, sit in awe at all you think and feel and believe. Faith, the strongest battle before us, prevails.

I know,
what does she know?
her garden hedged with jubilee,
deny the rooster’s crow times three

an eagle’s wing towering
the red seas parting
see, HE hangs shunned
heart beating
nailed upon a cross
forgiving arms imprisoned
arrow quivering into HIS side

walk forward
along tHIS deadly path
alive in grace, hidden
within the womb of an olive tree.

John 19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. 34Instead, one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water flowed out.

Crucifixion foretold, standing on Calvary, mounting days of onyx unfold. A man born in the night, illuminating hearts. History stretching before His virgin birth, an angelic conception of Mary…

And so Advent season begins.
