Cliffs Of Monhegan Island

Thirsting not for water
a parched mouth stays shut,
conserving thoughts for stranger days.
Cliffs standing, borrowing sacred peace,
applauding the whispered ages
feet dangling, weathered branches cease.

    1. It is beautiful and I can still sense the sounds, the wind and sun on my face. Worth everyone going once, somewhere phenomenal, to carry positive around for healing.

      1. It took many years of healing and a new found courage, too difficult to explain in a simple comment, but I pray you are able someday, too! Those moments you still remember each breath, step of your foot…blank mind sailing on the wind!! Only the best friend. πŸ’›πŸŽΆπŸŽΆ
