Spring approaches
to celebrate life,
an Easter resurrection
still -i

i want to believe
i mean I do believe
today exists
and tomorrow -the next day

so help my unbelief.
I don’t feel the newness
stuck in this wretched
sackcloth, torn and dirtied.

  1. I understand this feeling. Daily I bear a guilt that I have given to God and know he forgives. But to forgive oneself when another human or two are constantly telling you or not telling you (not speaking to you) about your wrongdoings is tough. Thus the sackcloth.

God is within us. It is in our conscience and our longing for something more. God defined how the world work and it works with great precision actually by the laws of science that we only understand in limited capacity.

Wearing a sackcloth is a man-made way of dealing with our guilt. In actuality though, it is a sin to keep bearing…being less than we can be for God. We are dim when when we are down but we need to be a light.

    Happy Easter!
