Leaving too soon

I had hoped to move downtown Indianapolis during the summer, particularly in the Fletcher Place Neighborhood. Those plans have changed and we are looking elsewhere due to unexpected developments. I am busily packing my life away. A soul on hiatus. I am going to miss this Fletcher Place.

I am spending as much time as possible, over the next few months, to capture as much of Fletcher Place’s essence as humanly possible. Soon it will be a ghostly voice speaking to me.

    • Hope you will enjoy Hoosier hospitality. If you like outdoors, you definitely need to go to the state parks. Turkey Run and Clifty Falls are two of my favorites. But they all offer something different. Really a lot to explore if you like. Small towns. Chicago is close. Louisville and Bourbon country. Indianapolis has come a long way in 18 years. Welcome!! πŸ™‚

  1. This reminds me of my own moving… I was happy of that… I wanted that and yet it felt like a whole era was closing forever… bittersweet…

    • I understand completely B. Its a box of mixed-up emotions being shaken daily. Indianapolis has been home for 18 years. My youngest born and grown here. I am excited for a new adventure, Boston or the West Coast. Life will not be the same there, but there will be ocean, and that will be enough for me to go. πŸ€—β€οΈ
