GLAD I GREW UP WITHOUT A PHONE IN MY HAND (reblog)

I would have missed days dreaming in the hayloft of grandpa’s barn, baking pies with grandma and romping through summer meadows full of flowers and butterflies. And you?

The lovely thing is tomorrow i am moving out to the country, across the street from a farm housing goats, chickens, a few barn cats and i wonder how my writing will shift? That and my piano and paints… i am sure some things on my blog will shift… so excited!! 😁🎢

    1. Ah yes Kate! I was a reader too! Built up my blanket tent and tugged along my stuffed animal friends, with the books piled high and no where to go, no one saw me for what seemed like days… the best time reading was spent during summer vacation… the summer breeze blowing the tent walls, i would forget where i lived… the book pages saved me from pain and shyness, from despair and languishing aimlessly. Thanks for that comment! Excellent!! πŸ“š jπŸ•ŠπŸŽΆ

      1. My mom used to take us to the library a lot. I loved the library and my mom was a reader also. That helped summer go by faster. We didn’t have cable TV growing up, so that was another reason to read.

    1. Hey πŸ‘‹πŸ» Walden, I cannot count how many days i have thought to throw this phone (yes, i am typing on my iphone) to the abyss. Our society makes it almost impossible any more… to be with out one. I hope i can make friends with our new neighbors… share this joyful feeling, emanating throughout my body, which is difficult to control at the moment. It feels like Christmas… life feels livable again!! I hope this optimism lasts… it is a foreign feeling to be smiling… i have lived depressed for so long… but i am not going to let guilt shade my happiness!!!! β˜€οΈ gotta keep this feeling growing….

I also know i cant let go of this… blogging kept me alive… strange how words were lifesavers… i am the most introverted soul but with friends (yes, some bloggers, like u, feel like friends) i am an open book… chitty-chatty! Keep your dreams alive! πŸŒˆβ˜€οΈ
