hearts adjoin in pleasure, walking by

the world has chance
to be
and so do i
and if all fails
i remain
in peace this day

to watch
leaves dance in lovely eyes
hear cooing
beyond the winding lane
lips pressed
against the quivering terrain

the quiet
settled amongst the ripple
washed ashore
to dreamily weave
our tired cries
and blanket the worried world we adore

    • Awww πŸ₯° i feel the warm comment and i appreciate it… yes, nature is swallowing my despair. I hope it diminishes rapidly and with time, depression becomes less and less a part of my day… and the positive mentality shows up in my words as well as all i create. This town we choose to live is heaven sent!! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπŸ•Š

      • a heaven sent town…..I could use that. New York has too many distractions. I am thinking of relocating to Florida. Find a quiet place to write.

I hope nature, the skies, and life are kind and clear for you. You deserve that.

Have a beautiful Friday and weekend. (Oh, and I have more posts of your in my queue. Probably get to them this afternoon).

        • Gulf side? It is my favorite… going in January with a girlfriend for a week. πŸ– 🌊 Until then, i bask in the beauty of my town… waiting for snow. Yes!! ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

            • This time we are going to Casey Key… loved Sanibel and Clearwater. Have not stayed in Fort Meyer. Relatives live in Naples… visited them last year and was told about the shark-tooth beach and I actually found a shark tooth by sticking my hand in the sand while everyone around struggled with buckets and rakes and determination… Yet to go to Key West! Maybe next year? Can you write with ocean waves lapping… it can be a distraction to me… alluring and i melt away. πŸ˜‚

        • And yes, NYC was disappointing a few weeks ago. Saw Wicked, rode the subway (less crowded than Boston) went to SoHo and Andy Warhol’s art studio… but i was less than enamored as i was in 1993… lived there two years and loved it! This time i felt let down…

    • Hi Lyn!! It was cold and drizzling here too! 😱❀️❀️❀️ It doesn’t appear that way… as the gray sky was behind me. I have another picture from across the street that i am felting… will post the photograph and felt piece if i end up liking my work.
