The minutes pass faster
than are deeply enjoyed.
Burn out
before we see the light.
The minutes run ahead
as hours catch up.
Dangle
before our hands pass through fog.
Check the wrist
where steel grey foam convenes.
Praise the waves
for tumbled glass unworthy.
Nicely done Jeanne š

Time when young seems a curse and why does it pass so quickly, or if you are old seems to be slow and nothing but waiting. However, time is no more than an accumulation of moments and that is what we can do, to live for the moment and enjoy every moment. Nice writing. š š

David J Hopcroft… agree! Time is elusive as running our hands through water. In order to grasp time we freeze memories and hold on.
