Borderline Crossing

I do! I do!

I plant my feet in borderlands
to an autumn leaf display
form daisy chains
and wrap my legs
with flower seeds array.

For if I chance
to sprout my breath
surely grace will stay
across my fatal heart
indeed, another year to stray.

    1. Life is beautiful! And to think I once thought death was the answer to pain. Oh no! To try and grasp the essence of words often feels futile.. yet we charge ahead! Taunt death with hope! Yes! Taunt the inevitable with resurrection of breath! πŸ€—β€οΈπŸŒŠπŸšπŸ•ŠπŸ˜Ή

      1. Ha! You stole my mantra. 😹 All joking aside, how wonderful minds think alike! The seen and unseen, all of life encapsulates beauty. I always sidestep the ugly to make room for the lovely 😊. No wonder we hang around each other’s blog. Fill up with soulful peace. I will warn you, a dark poem, from ages ago, resurfaced. Im pumping blood into the form. Will post.. once I feel its worthy. Im rambling here.. bear with me. These thoughts have been swirling for days. I am constantly reworking old stuff. Tinkering because it never feels accomplished. But I am in an online workshop with Emily Stoddard at Voice and Vessel. Wow! is all I can say about her workshop. She is making me into a better poet. I think πŸ€”. 😹 I will say, instead of skimming the surface, I am drawing deeper into my words. Now I am submerged.. ok, enough of my chatter. 😼 πŸ‘‹πŸ» Thanks always, J🐚
